Southern Maine, which includes both Cumberland and York counties, is home to Portland, the business center of the state. Here you will find many of the coastal communities for which Maine has become famous. Lake Sebago, well known for lakefront homes and excellent public beaches is about 40 minutes from the Greater Portland area.
