When it comes to selecting where to live, a recent NAR study titled Factors Influencing Neighborhood Choices revealed that “Quality of Neighborhood” was the most important – 61%.  This was followed by “Convenient to Job” (43%) and “Quality of Schools” (25%).

The overall affordability of homes was ranked at 39%.

Lifestyle Home Search Highlights Neighborhood Features

Using our Portland Neighborhood Home Search you can plot all these features and many more on a geo-spatial map.  For example, you can identify local neighborhoods – and all the demographic information associated with them.  Where are the nearest schools?  How about large department stores – or local shops?  All can be displayed right along homes for sale.  Distances can also be added.

The example below highlights all the Portland neighborhoods and communities.  Homes for sale and other home purchasing factors are all displayed.  The map can be moved and the home search can be highly customized.

You can also save your personalized searches and favorites and receive email updates when there are matches.  The home search is directly connected to the Maine MLS (Multiple Listing Service), so you can be assured that all homes and properties are included.
