Holiday creep, the idea of holiday merchandise coming out earlier and earlier, is a phenomenon that can be very divisive. I know I for one get angry when I start to see Halloween candy in August, and that’s why I’d like to start with an apology for this blog post. Christmas and Hanukah aren’t here and yet I’m blogging about New Years. But I do so with good reason.
Have you considered your New Years resolutions yet? Many tend to delay until after Christmas, and then only stick with them for a few weeks. Why not try sitting down and thinking of actionable, small changes you can stick to. By writing them down, you’re more likely to follow through.
A great goal for anyone this year is to live a more sustainable day to day. Greta Thunberg, Time’s person of the year, has been bringing a lot of attention to climate change. While there are arguably many different ways to make a difference for our planet, consistency is key so it’s best to start small and keep it up.
