When I first entered this home, I guess I was expecting the ostentatious, cookie-cutter homes of which I have seen so many. This, however, was not the case. I was instantly struck by the casual beauty, the homey elegance, and the warmth of a home well loved. The cherry floors and beautiful stairway are what I saw first, so warm and understated. The windows are striking and there are so many of them! The kitchen - the heart of the home- is large, open, and has a great flow. Viking, stainless appliances, a huge island with storage, ample cabinets, and a farmer's sink make up this lovely kitchen.

As I wandered into the family room, there was a puzzle started on the coffee table. I wanted to sit down by the corner, brick fireplace and have a go at it. Alas, there was more to see. The dining room is large enough for a great dinner party and your guests can convene in the formal living room, the sunroom - which has its own fireplace - or the family room. There is a first floor guest room for those who do not want to leave the party!

2nd & 3rd Floors

Upstairs you have 4 more bedrooms, another family room with a space for crafts or legos, or whatever your pleasure. This leads up to the third floor office with a unique 'eyebrow' window. Built-ins abound in this house so you will never want for storage space.

The master is an oasis in itself. Just the bathroom alone is a place you will not want to leave! Stunningly accented with aquamarine knobs and fixtures, I felt as though I was in the Caribbean!

The three remaining bedrooms are all of great size. One boasts its own walk-in closet and bathroom, and the other two share a bath. On the third floor there is a large private office with built-ins, ample storage and a large landing that can be used in many ways.

There are so many lovely things about 17 Peppergrass that I can not mention them all. You will just have to see for yourself!
